Chelsea to terminate Saul’s loan?
Written by Jack Rigby
There has been speculation about Chelsea terminating Saul’s contract due to his simple inability to get into the Chelsea first team. He was brought in on loan from Atletico Madrid with an option to buy for around 30 million euros. So far into his tenure, he has been an absolute unadulterated flop. He has started one game, against Aston Villa, and came off the bench against Malmo in the Champions League.
His place in the squad was taken by Loftus Cheek, and seemingly, it will be rather difficult to get that off of him in his current form.
He is a quality player, as seemingly every Chelsea Fan knows, it just seems like maybe he doesn’t fit under Thomas Tuchel in this system. So because of this there has been rumours about Chelsea cutting ties with the player.
